Nominal height is 0.070" +/- .010" (1.75 mm). Note : Adhesive formulations will vary depending upon the application and performance characteristics required.
Size:
Maximum (in one solid piece) is over 100 square inches (645 square cm) dependant on shape. Maximum length of 34 inches (86 cm). Minimum is as small as 1/8" (3.18 mm) diameter under optimum conditions. We welcome the opportunity to review your requirements beyond these guidelines.
Color:
Color may be selected from any existing color guide or developed from a color master supplied by the customer. Transparent, solid, metallic and a variety of other ink configurations are available. Multiple colors are possible in a registered or random pattern (gradations, half-tones, etc.).
Substrate:
We can apply Domes® to many substrates: metalized polyester (mylar), vinyl, some paper pressure-sensitives, polycarbonates, aluminum, acrylics and others upon testing. We can also "dome" products other than our own.
Embossing:
With Domes®, embossing is strongly recommended to realize the maximum graphic appeal. We have a variety of patterns to choose from or you may wish to have an emboss created specific to your design.
Lens:
Four standard-height crystal-clear urethane chemicals are immediately available for Domes® designed to meet the required exterior durability and budgetary needs of most applications. Other urethanes are offered for special thinner/lighter Domes® applications. Custom formulae (minimum orders will apply) can also be developed to meet unique demands.
Adhesive:
Our standard adhesives will meet most requirements. We can use any pressure-sensitive adhesive and/or transfer tape specified. We will test and develop adhesives to meet specific requirements.
Construction:
Domes® will form a crystal clear "bubble" over a flat surface to create a dimensional effect. They are generally assembled as indicated below.
