FlexScript® Design Specifications

Thickness

Nominal height is 0.070" +/- 0.010" (1.75mm +/- 0.25mm). Note: Adhesive formulations will vary depending upon the application and performance characteristics required. Height will also vary dependent on stroke width of characters and processing styles.

Size

Maximum (in one solid piece) is 3.937" X 9.843" (10 cm X 25 cm) square. Minimum is as small as 0.275" x 0.275" (7 mm x 7 mm) depending on shape and profile of the part. The minimum stroke width can be as small as 0.04" (1.0 mm).

Color

Color may be selected from any existing color guide or developed from a color master supplied by the customer. Transparent, solid, metallic and a variety of other ink configurations are available. Multiple colors are possible in a registered or random pattern (gradations, half-tones, etc.)

Substrate

A proprietary layered construction that can be produced in both chrome and/or colored finishes.

Embossing

Embossing of FlexScript can maximize your graphic appeal. Adding multiple profiles or emboss patterns is recommended, especially on larger, or one-piece graphics.

Versatility

Domes® can be combined with FlexScript to make the graphic more aesthetically versatile and pleasing.

Adhesive

Our standard pressure sensitive adhesives will meet most requirements. Craft can will test and recommend a suitable adhesive to meet your specific requirements.

Parameters

Minimum stroke width is 0.04" (1.0 mm).
Inside and outside corners can be 90-degree angles.
Minimum space between characters is 0.04" (1.0 mm).
