Graphic Overlays Design Specifications

Thickness

The standard base plastic films range in thickness from .005" to .030" (0.13 to 0.76 mm)

Size

Maximum 1-piece size is 28" x 34" (71 x 86 cm). Minimums are dependant on thickness of base film, construction and design required.

Color

Color may be selected from any existing color guide or developed from a color master supplied by the customer. Transparent, translucent, anti-glare, solids, metallic, backlit, dead front and bright chrome metallic are available.

Substrate

Polycarbonate, Polyester and PVC (vinyl) films are standard. Polycarbonate films are available with a hard-coat surface for increased abrasion resistance. Clear, matte, velvet and textured polycarbonate materials are also available.

Textures

U.V. selective textures can offer enhanced esthetics, highlighted graphics and increased scuff resistance.

Embossing

Is available in a wide variety of patterns for functional keypad activation, brail, tactile feel, and decorative enhancements.

Exterior

Exterior grade constructions are available for extended U.V. resistance and outdoor durability.

Adhesives

Specialty adhesives and transfer tapes are available. Craft will test and develop adhesives to meet your specific requirements.
