Hibosscal® Design Specifications

Thickness:

Nominal caliper is 0.040" (1.0mm). An optional 0.80" (2.0mm) material is also available.  Heights can be modified by use of different adhesive thicknesses as well as the addition of a second-surface such as Domes® or other metallic films.

Size:

Maximum individual piece size is 22 x 50 inches (56 x 127 cm). Larger overall graphics are possible depending on design. Minimum size or stroke width is 3/16 inches (5 mm). We welcome the opportunity to review your requirements beyond these guidelines.

Color:

Color may be selected from any existing color guide or developed from a color master supplied by the customer. Transparent, solid, metallic and a variety of other ink configurations are available. Multiple colors are possible in a registered or random pattern (gradations, half-tones, etc.).

Substrate:

The basic substrate is an exclusive 40 mil clear flexible exterior-grade PVC. Gold, chrome and other specialty finishes can be added to the second surface.

Adhesives:

Craft's standard adhesive will meet most requirements. Specialty adhesives and transfer tapes are available. Craft will test and develop adhesives to meet your specific requirements.

Construction:

Hibosscal® offers both top and bottom surface printing. Print will wrap around the side of the part.

Parameters:

• Minimum space between characters is 0.12" (3.0 mm)
• Minimum stroke width of a line is 0.19" (5.0 mm)
• Minimum corner radius is (1.0 mm)
